All Roads Lead to Hekate
Today is Halloween, Samhain, a time when the Dead and those in-between can communicate and cross realms more easily, making it ideal for connecting with Hekate. Jason Miller's Sorcery of Hekate session begins today. Having previously taken his course, I can attest that it has significantly enriched my connection not just with the Witch Queen, but also with my overall magical practice. The guiding theme and mantra I embraced while taking the course was, “All roads lead to Hekate.”
For years, I intermittently made offerings to the Lady Cloaked in Saffron. I explored Liber Khthonia by Jeff Cullen and participated in various rites. I even encountered a Grey Lady one night while walking to the crossroads. However, the Serpent Maiden always seemed elusive to me. Unlike other deities I had worked with, she was never as outspoken. Recently, I've come to understand that she was silently watching over me, protective and attentive. At times, I questioned her presence altogether. After Sorcery of Hekate, I now recognize that my efforts were not in vain. In every magical endeavor, she was present throughout; all sorcery belongs to her it's her domain. She embodies every aspect of occult pursuits.
I have been practicing for approximately ten years. The basic rituals I’ve followed over the years, such as preparing holy tea and performing cleansing rites like the LBRP before each session, have transformed from a simple tingling sensation into a powerful electric charge. When I invoke the angels, I can feel their associated elementals surrounding me. It's as if I'm standing beside the ocean, perched on a mountaintop feeling a powerful breeze, or mesmerized by the flickering flames of a fire. The effects and connections of the magical workings or offerings I perform, whether grand or modest, have grown more profound. I believe this is due to her presence as the Sorcery Queen, the Goddess of the Night, and the Wanderer of the Graveyards. Even if there isn't a specific form of magic directly linked to her, all forms of witchcraft and magic fall under her realm. Regardless of the practice, all paths will ultimately lead to Hekate.
I highly recommend exploring the Sorcery of Hekate if you're able, as it can deepen your connection with her and foster personal growth. This practice has played a crucial role in my own development. The Necromantic Goddess uplifts women, children, and the vulnerable. She welcomes the outcasts into her embrace, providing comfort and strength to those seeking to uncover her secrets. Through this journey, I've become more grounded, assertive, and motivated to improve and strive for the best version of myself.
This Samhain, take some time to delve into the realm of Hekate, the goddess of crossroads and shadows. Pay attention to her call from the void; if she invites you, you’ll sense whether you are prepared to uncover her enigmatic mysteries.
